Formally Director of the Medical Oncology Research Unit of the University of Liverpool’s Department of Medicine and now Visiting Professor of Cancer Drug Discovery at the University of Southampton. He was also formerly Professor of Radiation Oncology and Honorary Director of the MRC Fast Neutron Clinical Trials Clatterbridge UK. Hilmar trained as a Clinical Oncologist at The Royal Marsden, Hammersmith, Middlesex and Addenbrooke’s hospitals and subsequently gained his scientific doctorate in the molecular cell biology of cancer as an MRC Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge.

Dr Bill Primrose - CEO

Previously a founder of PanTherix Ltd., a University of Leicester spin-out company developing novel anti-infectives using structure-based design.  He is currently part-time CEO of IntelliHep Ltd., a glycotherapeutics company, developing heparin-based drugs for the treatment of a range of diseases, and founder and director of SioKem Ltd., a contract chemistry provider.  He has a broad-based scientific background in drug discovery.

Crispin Kirkman- Business Development Director and Company Secretary

After a career in the NHS with many years in CEO positions, he became CEO of the BIA, the UK Trade Association for biotechnology companies.  In 2003, he founded his own company offering business development to small technology enterprises, to Government organisations and many others, with clients all over the world.  His company also provides advice on bio-economic strategy for regions and nations.
